ADHD Support
Over the last two years, I have had an increase of young women who show up on my doorstep frustrated at why they can’t function in their college or grad school programs. They watch other student move with ease through assignments that they can’t get off the ground. Their attentions wanders in class, maybe they struggle with organization. ADHD reaches past academics, and these same young women, although perhaps very social, also have relationship difficulties.
As a LICSW, I am able to diagnose ADHD. I work with a medical professional such as a PCP or a NP to formalize the diagnosis and formulate next steps with you.
It’s been a lovely development of my practice to find that I work very well with highly intelligent, young women who need this kind of support. (If you are a guy, we can give it a try too.)
