When anxiety and depression begin to affect your ability to function on a day to day basis, it is time to address them. Talk therapy is essential to managing the crippling symptoms associated with anxiety and depression. If you are interested in real change in these areas, I will collaborate with you to track the behaviors and find interventions that work.
You will have a better outcome if you are willing to do homework in between sessions. Homework usually starts with collecting data on a behavior or thought pattern. We will look at what beliefs you hold around that behavior or thought pattern. Then we implement a modification and track the data again. We always start by identifying what your goals are and what motivation you have for reaching your goals.
