Mindfulness and Meditation
Mindfulness is key to progressing along your path. This is a process of learning how to calm your central nervous system and to then to see your thought paths and behaviors from a non-judgemental place.
If you are struggling with meditation or mindfulness then we can problem-solve to find a practice that works for you. All major systems of belief have meditation or contemplation as a part of their structure and we can explore what this may mean for you.
I first found a cushion at the age of 13 with Suzuki Roshi’s students. Since then I have gone through multiple years training in meditation, and have also had to unlearn parts of it. I have taken refuge vows, and bodhisattva vows. Bodhisattva vows are a dedication to help all sentient beings in this lifetime without judgement; guided by generosity, gentleness and kindness.
